05 / BRIDGE

Rental & temporary heat planning

Prepare a temporary steam or hot-water requirement with the site conditions that matter.

Define the bridge period

Describe the reason for temporary capacity, target start, expected duration, required output and pressure. Include normal load, peak load and contingency requirements. Equipment availability, response times and rental rates need supplier confirmation; no rental fleet is represented here.

Make the site ready

Confirm access, lifting, laydown space, connections, power, water, fuel, drainage and stack arrangement. Alberta weather adds freeze protection and enclosure questions. Allocate responsibilities for installation, operation, commissioning and removal.

Do not skip acceptance

Temporary equipment is not automatically exempt from Alberta requirements. Confirm registration, inspection permits, operator requirements and applicable installation approvals before use, particularly when importing or moving equipment.
