A scope that reflects the region
Remote locations and winter exposure make logistics an early design input. Establish road access, fuel quality, utility capacity and whether equipment will operate in a permanent building or temporary enclosure.
What to put in the project brief
Build the project schedule around delivery, commissioning and site readiness. For temporary heat, define freeze-protection responsibility, supervision and safe shutdown arrangements with the project team.
- What access restrictions affect transport and lifting?
- Is fuel and electrical capacity verified at the site?
- Who is responsible for winterization and daily operation?
Provincial requirements travel with the project
Identify applicable registration, inspection and operating requirements early. Confirm the responsible organizations and authorization scope for the actual work. Temporary, relocated or imported equipment needs its own review.
This page describes project considerations. It does not establish a local office, a contractor network, equipment stock or guaranteed response times.
