A scope that reflects the region
Food processing, distribution facilities, commercial campuses and manufacturing sites can have very different heat profiles. Separate year-round process demand from seasonal space heating when defining a Calgary-area project.
What to put in the project brief
A replacement in an occupied facility needs a phased shutdown plan, access survey and temporary heat strategy. Include urban delivery restrictions, mechanical-room clearances and the handover requirements of the facility team.
- Is process heat required during the replacement?
- Can the existing room accommodate equipment removal and rigging?
- What operating data is available across winter and summer?
Provincial requirements travel with the project
Identify applicable registration, inspection and operating requirements early. Confirm the responsible organizations and authorization scope for the actual work. Temporary, relocated or imported equipment needs its own review.
This page describes project considerations. It does not establish a local office, a contractor network, equipment stock or guaranteed response times.
